Goldfields Gothic

Goldfields Gothic is a unique festival celebrating the darker side of Victoria’s goldfields history in Maldon. Inspired by tales of bushrangers, spiritualists, secret societies, ghost hoaxers and notorious crimes, the festival combines live music, art, film, fashion, literature and performance in a weekend of immersive gothic culture.

A highlight is the Dark Market, featuring artists, makers, designers and traders offering unusual and handcrafted goods.
