fluxed earth is the collaborative ceramics practice of Rye Senjen and Kirstie Murdoch, based on Dja Dja Wurrung Country in Castlemaine, Victoria.
fluxed earth has long been fascinated by the traces left in wood and rocks by the movement of insects, and the growth of fungi and plants. So often these traces can appear similar to remnants of ancient human scripts carved into stone or clay. These pendants are a reflection on these markings and messages - human and other-than human.
